QASMT Science Fair

Recently we (Alisha Aggarwal, Zarin Zoha, Dishitha Sriram, Edward Zeng, Siddharth Deshmukh and Taejus Shreekumar) had the incredible opportunity to fly out to Brisbane, Queensland and participate in the QASMT science fair.  This experience enabled us to share our scientific research projects and further explore our passion for science and investigation.

This 4-day and 3-night trip involved numerous scientific activities that included brunch with in-field scientists, visiting The University of Queensland campus, attending science workshops, participating in QASMT classes with our peer buddies and enjoying the scenic beauties of Brisbane and South Bank Reserve. All of this was accompanied by the experience of meeting other science-passionate students from both Queensland and Adelaide. One thing for sure, this is one experience that we will never forget!

We would like to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to Dr Denney, Mr Corkill, Ms Ryan, Dr Rossiter, Anna Zonneveld, Erika Trickett, Eli Czerniecki (JMSS Lab Technicians), Australian Regenerative Medicine Institute (ARMI), Kevin Lu (ARMI), Professor Peter Currie (ARMI) and everyone else who supported us. A big thank you to QASMT for organising and planning out all the day’s activities and finally another huge thank you to Dr Rossiter and Trish who accompanied us and took great care of us during our stay.
