ISSF 2012 was hosted by Fort Richmond Collegiate in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada from April 30 to May 4, 2012. Aleksandra Vasic, Jessica Amend and Lachlan Harkness were chosen to represent John Monash Science School at the international fair. A project titled “Bio-Grouse: Energy for a Better Future” discusses the use of biotechnology to improve the lifestyle and health of communities in Vietnam.  They are accompanied by Mark McTier (Head of Science) and Sally Cheah-Johnson (Assistant Principal).
