International Earth Science Olympiad

Congratulations to year 11 student Joel Tan, who was selected as member of the Australian team for the International Earth Science Olympiad in Beijing China.

The International Earth Science Olympiad (IESO) is an educational event for secondary school students globally, organized by the International Geoscience Education Organization (IGEO). Its aim is to enhance the level of geoscience education worldwide and increase public awareness of Earth Sciences.

Joel returned to JMSS with three medals – Gold, Silver and Bronze from different stages of the event.
